Kattral learning is enhanced with the principles of 'Positive Education' - a culture of happiness and positive well-being that enables young children to flourish and nurtures a child's perspective, curiosity and courage, emphasizing teamwork, creativity and perseverance. It is essential to form a strong partnership between us and each child and their parents. Our vision reaches out across every aspect of life to deliver and experience that is more than just an education. Our weekly class newsletter ensures the educational journey and understanding of the learning that is taking place.
Traditional values
We wish to promote a culture and environment underpinned by traditional values. These are the values of compassion, empathy, kindness and honesty to name a few. We take pride in reinforcing the traditional values in our day-to-day work with children as ultimately, our greatest aspiration, is to help create confident and successful adults who are fundamentally good people. We can contribute to a global target for happiness and kindness that cliches aside, do indeed make the world a better place for all.
We have high expectations in terms of effort commitment, behaviour, uniform and appearance and a good work ethos. When infused in a community where values-driven education is at the heart of all we do these elements help ensure a safe and vibrant community for all.
